The easiest way to download a video using Python
The easiest way to download a video using Python is by installing and running the ‘ youtube-dl‘ module of the Python programming language.
First, if you haven’t installed it, install youtube-dl.
Please check the GitHub page of the python program to read about how you install by visiting https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl
Grab the URL of the video which you think you have the right to download and put it in between a single quote. If you are using Windows, you might need to use double-quotes.
Once you do that, open the terminal or the command line in the destination folder you want to store the video.
After you started the terminal, enter the following command and press ‘Enter’ to download the video:
youtube-dl ‘url’. Please note there is a space between the two. ‘url’ is the long string text of the video link.
When downloading is finished, you can get the video stored in the folder you chose.
